SUBJECT: Home Remedy
NAME: Patricia Schmaltz
COUNTRY_OF_REMEDY: USA
INGREDIENTS: LOCAL Honey - It HAS to be from your local area
INSTRUCTIONS: When you EAT your local honey, you are ingesting the pollen of
your area. Later, when you breathe it in, your body doesn't react (an allergic
reaction) because it already knows what it is: the honey you already ate! Take
at least a teaspoon every day; over cereal, in tea, in yogurt, on toast... whatever.
No more allergies from pollen!

Ingredients = NONE
Instructions = I have had nasal allergies for years, (year round). I was diagnosed
with dust mite allergies and got relief with nasal
steroids, but squirting stuff up my nose every day was a little hard to get
used to. I tried all the usual dust-mite things like mattress and pillow covers,
no carpet, etc. That worked for a while, but then stopped working, and it was
back to the steroids. Believe me, I tried way too many other things to mention. Then
one day I thought, maybe my nose is really sensitive to strong
scents.I usually wore very mild scented body lotions because perfumes made me
sniffly. I realized that even the mildest fragrances made my nose itchy.I stopped
using the lotions and now I am sniffles-free and nasal steroid free for the
past 2-3 months. I use an unscented soap, almond oil or real shea butter as
skin moisturizer. I even avoid the people at work with the loud perfumes. I
do miss the nice pleasant fragrances. I could not go fragrance-free on the deodorant,
but so far that has not bothered me. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Ingredients: MSM
Instructions: It is little known, but the common suppliment,MSM, found
at most any health food store or section will do wonders for many
allergies. I have had ragweed pollen allergy for years, but by taking one
teaspoon full (dose may vary, so experiment), starting 2 weeks before
season has allowed me to be symptom free! It is also great for dogs with
skin allergies. Put it in their meat, once a day.

Ingredients: Horseradish
Instructions: I was hangin around with friends when they dared me to eat 2 teaspoons
of horseradish. It just so happens that I had bad allergies at the time and
when I ate the horseradish, it was very, very strong (only do this if you think
you can handle it!!) But when I did it a few minuts after my allergies were
completely gone 'till the next day! ... I don't even know if thats healthy...
