TITLE: Amber Brown is Not a Crayon
AUTHOR: Paula Danziger
SUMMARY: Amber Brown is not a Crayon is an exciting story. This story teaches a life lesson about making up with friends. This story is interesting and also exciting. In the story, Amber's friend, Justin, is moving away and Amber is upset. They are also fighting because he wants to throw away the chewing-gum ball that they promised to save. Amber doesn't like being mad at Justin. She especially wants to make up with Justin because she
doesn't want to lose him as a friend. Amber doesn't want to be fighting with Justin the last few days she has with him.

I would recommend this book to children ages 8-12 since all kids in that age range can learn and relate a lot to Amber Brown. Some families are divorced and some kids have a personality like Amber. I relate to her by personality.
