A couple other home fixes
for you;
for cuts/bleeding the guy said electrical tape which I also have found to work,
but duct tape works better, and with both he's right, it's part the adhesive
but they both keep the cut pulled close better than a bandaid.
another simple quick fix for cuts/bleeding is super glue

Instructions = since glass is electronegatively charged surface, it will activate
factor XII, which is part of the intrinsic pathway in the clotting process in
your blood vessels. By putting glass (or any wettable [electrostatically charged]
surface such as collagen)on your cut, it starts the clotting pathway as so essentially
coagulation. i learnt this in my zoology class.

Instructions: I am an EMT and i know every way to stop any major bleeding. First
of all, if its really bad call 911. Apply direct pressure to the wound site,
and cover it with sterile dressing. then raise the extremity higher than your
body. this makes less blood stay in the wounded extremity and keep more in your
body. if that doesnt work put sumthing cold on your injury. you can also apply
pressure to an pressure point to slow down the bleeding. as an last resort and
only if it is life threating use an tourinqute. also try to stay warm.

Ingredients: black or plain lipton tea in a bagdo not use any kind
of spice tea as they will burn and hurt like alcohol.
Instructions: When a cut has occured immediately wash it. Then take one tea
bag and immerse it in cold water till it is totally saturated.Hand ring about
half of the water out and place the bag of the cut and apply mild pressure for
at least 10 minutes. If the bleeding has not completely stopped repeat.I use
this one all of the time and it works very well. I carry tea bags in all 3 of
my first aid kits.

Dad swore by this method for shallow cuts of all kinds on either humans or animals.I

Ingredients: all safe ingredients in this product from Biolife I found
at a Wal-Mart last week. It is called Urgent QR. It was in the band-aid section.
Instructions: apply the powder to blood, apply slight pressure for 15-30 seconds
and a scab forms automatically.
I have the ultimate remedy in stopping bleeding.. My neighbor is from Gautamola <sp?> she's a very elderly lady. Her husband is a bleeder.. it doesnt take much to get him bleeding.. she cuts a piece of his hair, burns it with a lighter, then places it on the bleeding area holding it with her fingers.. bleeding stops almost immediatly Mark, Houston Texas

Instructions: I work for the phone company and I'm always cutting myself. I
have found that as soon as you get cut put electrical tape on it, but not to
tight.This has worked to stop the bleeding and heal the cut in about 8 hours.It

Ingredients: sterile cloth
Instructions: For severe bleeding in the arms and legs such as being cut in
one of the major arteries place cloth on wound and apply presure. Also apply
pressure at the top of leg pressing the artery to the bone with your hand below
your wrist, do not use your fingers. elevate legs 8-12 inches from the ground
so that blood will flow away from the wound and prevent more bleeding. You should
always call for help if someone has a major wound such as a cut artery. A person
can bleed to death within 1 minute if an artery is bleeding.

eat orange peel , will stop some pretty bad bleeding within about 30 minutes.

Ingredients: Spider (cob) webs
Instructions: To stop a minor cut from
bleeding, ball up some spider web, the more the better. Place it directly on
the open wound, cover with a bandade till the next day. When removing it (it
will harden) run
warm water over it till it softens. This works great on fingers that
have been cut by broken glass while doing the dishes!!
