Cathrine, a young fourteen year old girl, is commanded to write a diary of her life by her brother,George. To please him, Cathrine writes a year long diary about her life. She livesin the year 1290, and back then, women didn't get to choose who they married. Instead,their fathers chose for them. Cathrine's father is a grouch, he treats her badly, and is trying to wed Cathrine to a rich man, so he can become rich himself. Cathrineis never pleased with the suiters that her father invites over, so she always actsnaughty or does something stupid to make the suiter not want to marry her. It works for a while, but soon, she's stuck with a man she doesn't want to marry, and there'sno way out of it for Cathrine now...well, at least there isn't for her anyways.recommend
It has a few swear words and bigger words. It also had a theme ment more for olderteenagers.
