The Student Lists were established in February 1994 to provide a forum for
cross-cultural discussion and writing practice for college, university and
adult students in English language programs around the world. There are
currently ten student lists, but more may be added as the demand for them
becomes evident:

This site was developed for university students to collaborate on writing projects. Ruth has also been developing software  for language teaching purposes since 1995. We are hoping to use the Internet Adventure Creation Environment (ACE) for putting students' stories and interactive exercises on the Web.

Write Away! aims to showcase good writing by Australian adult migrants learning English. Writing can be the result of classwork or totally independent work. Material can be sent and used at any time and we hope to put together two collections of good reading a year for both class and individual use.
