*after you have streched out you need to put a hot pad on the
place that is affected by the cramps.

INSTRUCTIONS: I was reading the list of remedies for menstrual cramps and could not believe mine was not up there;instead of using ginger, get a few cubes/blocks of brown sugar(HAS to be brown) and let it dissolve in hot water.drink it while its hot, simple as that, and your cramps will go away. (at least that works for me)*It is also important that you stay away from any extremely cold fluids while your menstruating, (ice cold water,popscicles, anything straight out of the fridge), which makes your cramp seven worse, stick with warm beverages/food. ....DO NOT EAT ICE CREAM!!!!!

INSTRUCTIONS: When I was pregnant with my 4th Daughter, I had an awful time with back problems. The Dr. told me I may have to have a
C-section. I was NOT having it!!! To have an operation is one thing; to be totally awake for it is all together another matter! I was talking to a friend of mine about it in a cafe, when an elderly woman at the next table came over and told me about taking Red Raspberry Leaf Capsules for an easy delivery, with hardly any labor and no complications afterwards--I was prone to heavy bleending afterwards. I was game for anything. She also told me to take it monthly a week before my period, for no cramping, PMS, heavy flow, etc.. It worked wonders. I had an hour of light labor--I took it for 6 weeks before my due date--with no complications afterwards. I have continued to take it with great results, as have others I have passed on to.

INSTRUCTIONS: I've had bad cramps since I was 15, and was diagnosed with endometriosis in my 20's. The pain is awful and debilitating.The doctor use to prescribe naproxen for me before it was available over the counter. The brand name in in the U.S.is Aleve. They are 220 mg caplets which they say to take 1 every 8-12 hrs. The doctors prescription was a 500 mgpill which they said to repeat if pain reappeared. So I take two aleve and take more if the pain doesn't cease. It doesn't seem to bother my stomach at all. Also, an alcoholic beverage or two can help my cramps relax too.

Instructions: My cramps paralyzed me in pain a few days ago. I took 3 Asprin and there was no relief, a few hours later I took 3 more and still no relief. It wasn't just cramps, but diarreah, dizziness and eventually I vomited. It was awful. I finally found some Ibuprofen, and took 3 of those. But I was still in pain waiting for it to kick in. Out of desperation, I wet a washcloth, put it in the microwave (not sure if this is safe though lol) pulled it out when it was nice and hot and put it on my abdomen/lower stomach. Oh my goodness - immediate relief. The only problem was that as soon as the towel cooled (which was only about two minutes later), the pain return. I walked around my apartment like this for an hour, alternating between one towel while the other was in the microwave. The pain finally, finally stopped. I got in my car and went and bought a heating pad. It works well, but not as hot as the towel. I'll definately use it next time BEFORE my cramps become THAT painful. I wish I'd found this page earlier. I'll definately try some of the tips on here. I'd tried hot tea before and it was helpful, but these last cramps were so painful I couldn't think straight.

When I am suffering from awful cramps a heating pad always does the trick- but unfortunately you dont have access to an electrical outlet attached to your rear end! I have been using ThermaCare heating pads for about two years now- I just stick one on my abdomen and one on my lower back- you put your clothes on right over it and voila!

Instructions: Hi. I suffer from polycystic ovaries which causes extreme pain from my periods. Not just cramping but nausia, diahrea, chills, and hot flashes ect. It is only painful during the first two days but it is too much to handle. I am not a drinker by no means but if you drink just one beer it will thin the clots which stops the cramps. Since the pain of the cramping is what causes the nausia and all that other stuff then a beer covers it all. Instructions: If you eat pumpkin seeds about a week before your period(a handful--1/4 of a cup a day) your cramps will be non-existent. Instructions: Contrary to popular belief, cold water in a hot water bottle makes my cramps go away. I find that when I'm at home and I get my monthly mentral cycle, I get extremely bad cramps. I take a bunch of ice and put it into a hot water bottle and fill it up with water. I then place it on my stomach where it hurts and within 5 or 10 min, the pain is gone. This also works with headaches.

have suffered from muscle cramps for years, but any of these remedies
works within five to ten minutes. If you have dill pickle juice on hand,

This is very simple... if you can take asprin it will help this tremendously. Aspirin is a blood thinner and will seperate clotting. Also after taking the aspirin,lay belly down on the floor or bed. Curl your kneesup to your chest them lift tilting your pelvis skyward but not raised
up. try to maintain this for 10 minues giving the aspirin a chance to work. This helps with pain and discomfort. We used to have our patients on
our labor and delivery ward do this after childbirth. It was a big help. I do it when I need to and I have found that a pain-free period, means

Cramps are caused from blood clotting up.So what i
usually do to take off cramps is i take a hotpack or take a waterbottle and
fill it up with very hot water and place it on the place where it

Take an extremely hot bath until you can't handle it any more. Sit in a "half lay down" position with your feet up and a heating pad on your abdomin. If you have two pads, put one under your lower back too. Relax like this with a nice cup of herbal tea.(Be carefull, some teas have additives that will make you cramp worse. Read the outside of the box. I know there is a tea at the health food stores for cramps).

My best way to relieve the stomach pain caused by menstruation is with oregano. First at all, bring water to a boil with three tablespoons of oregano. Leave in the pot and continue to boil for five minutes. After that strain and drink as tea. You will feel better. When I have menstrual cramps I usually drink it and then I feel very well the whole day.

First make sure you aren't cold because I've figured out that can make them worse. It might not make them go away completely but it sure helps if you elevate your legs on something or curl your legs up so your knees are as close to your chest as possible.

Put some water in a conteiner.Boil the water. After boiling the water put some oregano in the water and leave it for 5 minutes. Next, drink the tea without sugar or with a little spoon of sugar.The go to bed and rest for a while.

Note:  You can drink this tea when you feel the pain or before you start to hurt.
