Name of Remedy: dry or cracked feet
Ingredients: crisco
a pair thick socks
Instructions: wash your feet, scoop out some pure crisco or shortening and apply to feel liberally. especially on extra dry or cracked areas like heels. after you slather on a good thick coat of shortening, put on a pair of thick socks and wearovernight, (i do this sometimes while doing housework too). in the morning your feet will be ssooo soft, and with regular use, any cracked areas will have healed. i've done this for years and people are always commenting on my feet. how good they look and how soft they are. even got told a few times i should be a foot model, lol. works better than anything you can buy in the stores, and i've tried about all of them. also if you want to exfoliate your dry feet before using this crisco method, you can mix granulated sugar with either crisco or vaseline, scrub into the feet and then rinse, and then use the criso method.

Ingredients: cold water, epsom salts, mint
Instructions: add all the ingredients into a large basin or foot spa. never use hot water when your feet are swollen or sore, it can actually make it worse. if you work all day long, and are in shoes, the last thing you want to do is add more heat! soak your feet for approximately 15 minutes in the water with the epsom salts, the mint is just a nice bonus. after an especially hard day of work i will take ice packs and wrap them around my feet and ankles to reduce swelling. i do this every morning after long shifts, and my feet are better by the time i have to go back to work. remember to wear proper footwear to prevent any worse wear on your feet.
