SUMMARY:
I couldn't wait to start this book since it is set in the colonial times. I
really wanted to try a book set back then, and I enjoyed it when
I read it. I think whoever reads it will also like it. This book is about a
girl named Elizabeth and how she came to America from England. It
tells how she and her best friend, Jessie, traveled on ships for seventy-one
days. Then, when they arrived, they met Indians. Elizabeth and
her family had to leave her twin brother, Caleb, at home in England since his
lungs were very, very weak.
I would recommend this book to people who like books set in old times. Also maybe people who have never tried them would like it. This book was my first colonial book, and now I love that genre. So if you read this book I think you will be interested in that genre.
