Morning Sickness

NAME: Bekki
COUNTRY_OF_REMEDY: USA
NAME_OF_REMEDY: Morning Sickness
INGREDIENTS: cold water
lemons
INSTRUCTIONS: This has been the ONLY thing that has helped me throughthis pregnancy. Fill up your water bottle with cold water. Add 1-3 lemon
wedges. Squeeze out most of the lemon juice into the water. Don't gulpthe water, as this can aggravate your nausea. Sip the water with a
straw. The lemons make the water easier to take, and staying hydrated will keep you from throwing up! (Mind you, if you have hyperemesis, like I
did during my first pregnancy, nothing is going to help you except drugs). Try this...it works for me!

NAME: Lakishi
COUNTRY_OF_REMEDY: los angeles
INGREDIENTS: milk and honey nut cherrios
INSTRUCTIONS: When I feel my morning sickness coming on, no matter what time of day, I slowly eat a bowl of honey nut cherrios, or kix and th esickness goes away right away; after a couple of bites, then I can eat the rest as normal. Sometimes I just eat the cereal with no milk andthat works too, it just takes longer.

COUNTRY_OF_REMEDY: Australia
NAME_OF_REMEDY: Morning Sickness
INGREDIENTS: Ginger
INSTRUCTIONS: Just chop up some ginger and pop it in a Thermos flask or tea pot and pour boiling water over it. (I prefer the Thermos flask a it keeps it warm most of the day). Just sip it all day long as it helps to settle your stomach. Also try getting from your health food store some vitamin B6 tabletsI've found that can help too.

To prevent the morning sickness, my sister and I both just about lived on dry Corn Flakes for the first few months of our pregnancies.Soda Crackers and ginger ale also helped sooth some of the nausea.
