INGREDIENTS: 1. epsom salts (MgSO4)
2. essential oils
suggested rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, tea tree
INSTRUCTIONS: I have two incomplete spinal cord injuries, and have broken my
lower back twice. I am also an R.N. in the USA, and have foundthis remedy after
years of research, trial, and error. If you are likeme, and don't think life
addicted to Rx drugs is ANY LIFE AT ALL,then this may work for you, too. Add
approx. 10 drops of the above listed oils to one gallon of dry epsom salt granules.
USE A GLASS OR CERAMICCANNISTER , AS THE OILS WILL ETCH METAL OR PLASTIC. Shake
well, store ina cool, dark, dry place. At least every night, after taking OTCtylenol
or nonprescription pain meds, add approx. two cups of this mixture to a very
warm bath. Soak at least 30 min.-1 hr.As water cools, you can drain out a small
amount, then add hot water to tub. If you have heart or blood pressure problems,
you should consult a physician before use.Otherwise, the salts will decrease
swelling and inflammation; the oils act not only to relieve spasm, but to increase
circulation and flexibility.. the oils are also antibacterial, and antifungal.
The salts also act as a natural deodorant, so you may no longer have stinky
feet! For those with super sensitive skin, you may want to try small amounts
of one oil at a time, just to be sure you do not react. If you are sensitive
to one oil, you may still be able to use others. This also works wonders for
aches and pains from the flu, or other infections...and kills germs , too

INGREDIENTS: rubbing alcohol, Lobelia, cayenne(optional)
INSTRUCTIONS: I ended up with a injured back afew years ago, lots of pain, lots
of muscle spasms. I've learned several tricks.First, a HOT shower will help.
Try pressing hard directly on the tight muscle and releasing, repeat many times.Use
an object if needed, I use a softball. For lumber pain loosely rollup a towel,
lay on your back with the towel under your lower back, it might help to bend
your knees up with your feet on the floor. The most effective thing I have tried
is a liniment. Add one or more ounces of Lobelia ( I use
about four ounces) and alittle Cayenne if you would like ( I use a tiny amount,
half ounce at the most) to a quart of rubbing alcohol. Shake well, it can be
used right away but the longer it sits the stronger it gets, after a week you'll
have a good strength liniment. Store it in a cool, dark place shake it ever
now and then. I strain off alittle into a squirt bottle. I've also made a tincturesout
of Lobelia and vodka or rum. This can be taken internally and will relax all
you muscles, this tincture also helpswith stomach and menstral cramps.
