Ingredients: A bottle of witch hazel
cotten balls
Instructions: Take these items with you to the doctors office. Have a cotten ball ready with witch hazel on it. After the nurse gives the shot, rub a few times with witch hazel,It stops swelling and soreness. I have three chilren who hate shots, one of myaunts told me this and it has always worked forme.

Instructions: My Indian-origin pediatrician knew that my 9-month-old could follow directions well. He told her to blow slowing, like she was blowing bubbles. When they gave her the shot, she didn't cry. We've done this every time since (she is five years old now) and she has only cried once.

Instructions: While my Husband was in the Navy, a Navy Nurse told me torub some Vick's Vapor Rub on the shot area and
it will help with the swelling and pain.It always worked for all my 4 babies who are allnow grown.

Ingredients: 1 Cold soda can
Instructions: I have 3 children and have always found this useful when getting their shots. Take a cold soda can with you to the doctor. After the shots are given apply pressure with the cold soda can. This elimanates swelling and also nums the
immediate pain. This has always worked well for my children.
